We provide suitable vacationing for families with kids – especially during holidays and in summertime. In the area separate from the one for couples, there are cabins and wood suites designated for families with children. Most of these units include a bedroom and living room with a door between them, where the children sleep in the living room on a studio couch that converts to twin beds, with an extra mattress or two available for more children. We have plenty of playpens for infants, a baby's highchair and bathtub, a small pool for toddlers, and a baby carrier for hiking.. In the "Horesh" unit there is a low sleeping gallery where four children can sleep. The "Bustan" unit has a separate children's room which can sleep 5-6 children, and in the living-room on the ground floor a corner couch can convert to a bed for two more. Every family unit has an air-conditioning system for heating and cooling in each room. In addition, each family unit has two TV's, 2 videos, 2 satellite converters and 2 DVD sets.

Our yard has a playground for youngsters, and ping-pong and basketball corners for youth. Every terrace level is protected with banisters for security. And a spacious lawn opposite the view awaits you with lounging and seating areas for the parents... Our DVD library includes a large selection of children's films (Disney etc.), films for youth, comedies and action. For children who are computer addicts, we recommend that you bring a laptop with a wireless card suitable for internet surfing WIFI.

The pool at Amirim – open all summer with a lifeguard and all accompanying facilities (kiosk, showers and wardrobes). The pool is open every day in July & August, and in the last weekends of June, and in September weekends - depend on the weather. The spacious pool has shallow and deep-water sections and a separate heated pool for toddlers. Shaded sitting areas surround the pool. Entrance for our vacationers is free. In the center of the moshav there's a large playground, and next to it a basketball court. All summer a gallery that provides children's activities is open to you. On Friday afternoons during the summer, the whole family is invited to come and stretch out on the lawn viewing the Kinneret, while to listening to live light music – free entrance to all!

Moshav Amirim is situated at a central point in the Galilee, with easy access to the attractions in any direction you choose. Within a few minutes' drive from our units, you can enjoy an easy hike with your children in the lap of nature, at Nahal Amud, Nahal Farod or Nahal Tzalmon, or to encircle the Mt. Meron peaks. At neighboring Kibbutz Farod is a mini-golf course. Exciting jeep tours depart from Amirim to the natural wilderness of our area. Mini-tractor tours, horsebacking and pony rides, activity equipment at the Keren Kayemet area of Eyn Zeytim, and a bowling alley in Karmiel are all within a 20-minute drive. A 30-minute drive will bring you to kayak boating in the Jordan river, in the summer, bicycling in the Huleh nature reserve, Luna Gal at the Kinneret, a monkey park in Yodfat, sightseeing at the hidden antiquities of Acre, rowboating in Lake Yir'on where you can feed and pet animals all year long. A picturesque route through the hills of Ramot Naftali, will bring you to the Menara cliff and cablecars, and the crocodile farm at Hamat Gader, are both - a 45-minute drive away. You can book, depending on suitable weather conditions, a flight on a flying mini-tractor, for kids and youth. Within a radius of an hour to an hour and a quarter you can reach Rosh HaNikra with its gushing eddies, Nahal HaKibbutzim at Beit Sh'an, the Banias and Dan Rivers, the Tanur falls at Metullah, and in the winter there's skiing at Mt. Hermon.
