To get here by bus
From Haifa or Safed, bus no. 361 or no. 501 stop here every 30 minutes or so. You need to take bus #982 or #992 from jerusalem to amirim. It leaves every 2-3 hours check out here www.bus.gov.il It leaves from jerusalem's religious neighborhoods, and then passes by Migdalei Ha-uma, right by the central bus station (but not in it) - there are several bus stops there - be at the one with the correct bus numbers on it - and make sure by asking other people if your're in the right place. it can be right on time, or 25 minutes late depending on traffic.. other people can update you as they follow it on their smartphones. It is best to have a "rav-kav" card (costs 5 ILS from the driver) and charge it with cash - this way you get 25% more than you put it. i.e. you put 50 ILS and you get 63.. then you pay with the card - also on other bus rides. If the bus driver isn't willing to let you off at Amirim, get off at Meron Junction and switch to #361 back to Amirim (5 minutes). Ours is the fifth house from the entrance to Amirim, on the right.
